So um, well... yes, I AM stupid. Apparently.

So, who's ever heard of 24 Hour Comic Day?
The concept, basically, is that over the course of a 24-hour period you create a 24 page comic. every year there is an official 24 Hour Comic Book day even. And on the official day, there are official sites all around the country that host a space for people to go sit and do this. Many a less than sane web comicker has done it, and a few pros.

I've been meaning to do this for years. And this year, I'm signed up to do exactly that. I'll be in a comic shop called ComicKaze from Noon on Saturday to Noon on Sunday. Heh Heh. See, stupid. Michelle said she's doing it this year too, but from the safety of her townhouse. I will probably call on speaker phone at random points purely to raz her/encourage her/amuse my sleep-deprived mind. Hell, I encourage my friends to do the same to me. Come by if you're in San Diego even.

I was seriously thinking I'd pre-write my script. But that's cheating... and wrong or something. But I do want at least have a concept or two before-I walk in the door. So um, please give me suggestions?

And we have a full round of comic updates today.
Legend of the Four <- 2 pages
Six Lefts <- 1 page
Overhill <- 2 pages

The first page of LotF's two page update is in black and white. A zip is available in the rant section if anyone is willing to try coloring it. ^_^

Overhill is now in the world/history-building section. The universe our charcters live in is going to be the primary purpose of the prolgue, so if you're not already reading it, start now.

Okay... After me missing two weeks due to stress from work and life in general (mostly work), LotF is updating. One page is up. A second is loaded in the auto-updater to go up tomorrow. I'm aiming to finish two more pages this weekend, but we'll see. I promise one more.

Here's previews for the two finished pages.

Well, lots of news.

Top of the list, my new web comic, a collaboration with asatira has begun. I write, she draws.
Check out Overhill; the first 5 pages are up. Updates are random for the time being.

Pirate Kittens is dead. It wasn't working. kagechi will be picking up with a new version of Adventures in AU soon.

Legend of the Four is alive, and in it's second book. There were three brand new pages this week if you haven't seen 'em yet.

I've moved across the country, from Southeastern Alabama to Southwestern California. I'm about a half hour from Tijuana. That amuses me a great deal.

I'll start updating this journal on at least a weekly basis with update announcements and random art sketches.
